Jim Anest has been a Parker Colorado attorney since 1987. Prior to moving to Parker, Jim was admitted to the Wyoming State Bar in 1980. Jim is a past member of the Real Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association has has been involved in all aspects of real estate representation.
As an acquisition and development attorney, Jim has been involved in multiple shopping center, apartment project, and residential/agricultural development purchase and sales and landlord tenant commercial leasings. Jim has negotiated, drafted contracts, and conducted due diligence for projects in excess of $150,000,000.00. He has extensive experience with zoning, annexations and other legal issues developers face in the acquisition and sale of residential property, commercial property, and ranch/agricultural land.
As part of his practice, Jim has been involved in entity formation for many Douglas County and Front Range businesses. Jim has extensive experience with entity formation and business acquisitions and sales.
Beyond helping clients with business and real estate needs, Jim devotes part of his practice to estate administration. Jim helps our clients develop practical life plans through the use of wills, trusts, powers of attorney, medical directives, beneficiary deeds and other pertinent estate planning documents. He has extensive experience with probate administration throughout the state of Colorado.
